A1.The Pied Piper entered the city street smiling.He was quite confident of the power of his pipe.When he started playing the pipe like a skilful magician,his eyes shone brightly.His eyes are compared to the flame of a candle.

Q2.

A2.Rats of all sizes,colours and ages followed the Piper.There were grey,brown,black and tawny rats.Thin ones and strong ones,big ones and small ones.There were old rats and young,entire families of rats followed the Piper.

Q3.

A3.The Piper drew the dancing rats on with his music,until they reached the river Weser,where all the rats plunged into the river and drowned.
